Tulsa OK’s Bright Economic Future

The accomplishments of Tulsa’s Future Plan has been touted on my the Governor of Oklahoma. Acknowledging the fact that Tulsa has been a large part of the economic development throughout the community. The effort of working together to create economic prosperity and a higher quality of life for the whole area is what’s top on the agenda, which is creating a stronger economy throughout the entire state.
One big part of the economic development was landing the Macy’s project which will bring even more jobs to the area with an announcement of 1,500 full and part-time positions available. There were also 77 more local expansions during 2013 that have helped spearhead the attraction of business and residents to the Tulsa area. The amount of new jobs available has been significant. Verizon will also be coming to Tulsa bringing 500+ new jobs.
Tulsa’s future economy is expected to be even better than 2013 with many more opportunities and positions that will make northeast Oklahoma an ever bigger success. And, these success stories are coming right from the efforts of Tulsa’s Future Plan and partner David Stewart who is the chief administrative officer for the Oklahoma Ordnance Works Authority.
