Eat Home Grown- Cherry Street Farmers’ Market, Tulsa Ok
Eat Home Grown, right here in Tulsa Ok. There is just nothing better than eating fresh, locally grown food. Not only is it the best food around, but it supports the local economy. Every Saturday until October 22, from 7am to 11am, come out to the Cherry Street Farmers’ Market and shop the local fruits, veggies, prepared foods, dairy products, and other farmers’ delights. The vision behind this farmers’ market is to connect local farmers directly to the local consumers. Eating locally grown food is healthier, for you and the earth.
The Cherry Street Farmers’ Market has been around since the late 1990’s and has significantly grown with success over the years. There are now around 80 participating vendors who are 100 percent certified Oklahoma grown. This means the produce, dairy and meats available to consumers from the farmers is from Oklahoma soil. Help your community thrive! Shop, volunteer, donate, or even become a vendor.
