First Friday Art Crawl- Brady Arts, Tulsa
As you very well may know, Tulsa is a prime city for culture and the arts. The Brady Arts District in Downtown Tulsa is a popular area for this reason. Therefore, the First Friday Art Crawl has been voted as one of the best events around. It is free and very entertaining for all to enjoy. What can you expect to do on a Friday night art crawl? All of the art galleries, studios, and museums, in addition to the part time galleries, and shops are open for this event!
Part of what makes this event so special is that it opens the door for local artists to not only showcase their work, but sell it, too. When this event started back in 2007, it was small. However, this event is now hugely popular and attracts more than 3,000 people each month. Come see what all of the interest is. Shop local, eat at local restaurants, and even support a local artist! Some additional attributes to the evening include visual art, performances, and sometimes fireworks. Bring the whole family, as there are plenty of kid-friendly art gallery showcases, and there is live music in the park!
Shops are open late and all admission is free! Spend the evening enjoying the spring weather while dining on one of the many patio restaurants, during your art crawl. Have dinner late, after the art crawl or go out for a drink. There are so many one-of-a-kind restaurants and clubs in the Brady Arts District. This is an ongoing event, once a month, on the first Friday of each month. Therefore, if you cannot make it this Friday, maybe we will see you out next month.
