According to the American Planning Association, October is National Community Planning Month. To celebrate, the City asks its citizens to enter their 2017 This is Tulsa photo contest. Now’s your chance to show off what you love most about living here in Tulsa.
2017 This is Tulsa Photo Contest
No one knows Tulsa like those of us who live here. That’s why the City wants our input for their 2017 This is Tulsa photo contest. All ideas are welcome. However, in keeping with the “Innovations in Planning” theme, officials ask that you try to focus on people enjoying local events, landmarks and other things that make Tulsa stand out from other towns.
2017 This is Tulsa Photo Contest Rules
All submissions must be original content. No surfing the web to find your “ideal” image. Only digital photos allowed. They must be in JPEG format and cannot be larger than 10MB. All ages are welcome to submit. Just make sure you email your submission before the end of business on October 31st. Email your photos to Addison Spradlin at firstname.lastname@example.org. Don’t forget to put “This is Tulsa 2017” in the subject line to make sure it doesn’t get missed. Also, include what the subject of the photo is (ie, the Philbrook Museum of Art gardens, downtown Tulsa, Tulsa at twilight, etc.), the name of the person taking the photo and their age (optional).
You must agree to allow the City to use these photos in their official 2017 This is Tulsa compilation video and any print or other media they choose. If your photo is included in the video, you will not receive any monetary compensation for it. However, your photo(s) will be tagged with your name in the video. Tulsa reserves the right to disregard any submissions that may not fit with their “Innovations in Planning” theme.
So, get your cameras out. Spend time enjoying what Tulsa has to offer. Snap a few pics. Then submit them for the 2017 This is Tulsa photo contest. Let’s show everyone what makes Tulsa such a great place to live!
