Keystone Lake Community and Real Estate Information
A small post office community gave Keystone Lake its name. The name “Keystone” was derived from the city’s “key” location where the Arkansas and Cimarron Rivers merged. Located southward was Prue and northward was Mannfor, a shortened version of Mann’s Ford. The Corps of Engineers placed a levee around the city’s southern and eastern sides to protect the low-lying portions of the city from the river water.
The community of Keystone Lake is served by the Cleveland Public Schools System. There is one early childhood center, one elementary, one middle and one high school in the district. The district is committed to assisting each and every student living in Keystone Lake real estate to develop his or her potential to their highest attainment by providing an atmosphere of support, understanding and direction.
